KiwiVolley is an introduction to volleyball for Primary and Intermediate school tamariki. The competition focuses on learning basic skills, teamwork and more importantly, having fun!
KiwiVolley is played 4 aside, mixed gender, on badminton courts and net, with a soft touch Mikasa kiwivolley ball.
Grade: Year 5/6 or Year 7/8, KiwiVolley is played with 4 players on a badminton court, 6 players per team.
Teams are recommended to have approximately 6 players and rotate throughout the game.
Times: Each team plays 1 x 40-minute session, split into 2 games each week
Duty: One adult (Team Manager) per team must supervise the team and assist with refereeing and/or scoring, bring their own whistle if they wish to use one.
Cost: $28 per player TBC
Wednesday 14th October – with finals night 2nd December 2026 played at Hastings Sports Centre, Railway Road Hastings
